Outpost Adera

The outpost, observed from the water below

Outpost Adera consists of four towers, not far from Byesford Castle. A button is required to get in. Place the button on the bottom of the western tower, open the iron door and climb a series of ladders to get to the top. Once at the top, walk across the bridges connecting the towers. To get down, simply jump into the water below.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

• Bring several water bottles and a button, as this is a decent place to acquire iron gear and be relatively safe from zombies and most bandits.
• If traveling alone, make sure to bring milk and bandages to avoid having to leave prematurely.
• Be cautious when close to the towers, as falling can result in hitting the ground and dying.
• There are 2 mil_mythics and 1 pots_rare located at the top of the eastern tower. To reach them, parkour up some fences and perform a hard jump. The path is hard to spot. Use a Weak Grapple to avoid the parkour and reach the ladder that'll lead to the chest. Failing the hard jump will lock the player out from the location if they don't have a button.
• The player can pass water bottles through the iron door entrance to their friends.
• This place usually spawns iron, and it has a brewing stand and a crafting table. Food, potions (without doing parkour) and civilian loot doesn't spawn here, so bring a lot of them before traveling to this location.
• Arrows spawn frequently, along with bows, to shoot any zombies that spawn into the water.
• With a grapple, it is possible to enter without a button. Grapple onto the tree, then look north and grapple onto a small ledge, then grapple to the main walkway. This is tricky, but possible.
• The Sunken Library is nearby here, along with the Cozy Cottage and Treehouse.

Trivia

• There is an end portal below Outpost Adera.
• This location was rebuilt for Halloween 2021, with the towers being replaced with large candles.
