Overview of the Ghost Ship

The Ghost Ship is the ship that disappeared from Carmi's harbor and now roams the seas protected by multiple mob spawners, with many pigmen and zombie spawners depending on the location. It has unique chests that can give you fire grenades, cooked fish, and other high-tier loot. Sometimes there are also a mil_mythic chests here, containing high-quality military loot. Rarely, Ghost Ship also featured a pot_rare chest, making it a one stop shop for everything a player needs. The location is moved on a regular basis, making it one of the more cryptic spots in the MineZ world.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

  • The Ghost Ship is a location that is constantly moved around the map. That being said, it is typically in an area that is out of the way for most players.
    • Whenever the Ghost Ship is placed somewhere in between Romero and Al Hasa, you can count on players attempting to gear here.
  • If possible, jumping into the water to kill zombies and zombie pigmen more easily is a good strategy.
  • The crafting tables in this location can be found on the main deck, just as you enter the ship. Crafting here is not advised, as there are several spawners nearby.

Trivia

  • The Ghost Ship was placed back into the MineZ world on August 9th 2020 as a part of the Adventurer's Update. In the update, the ship was rebuilt, marking a new era for the location. Past iterations of the ship are now colloquially referred to as "Old Ghost Ship."
  • The Ghost Ship is known as "Inferno."
  • The Ghost Ship bears a striking resemblance to a pirate ship that is seen in "The Goonies," a popular 1980's adventure movie. The ship in the movie is also called "Inferno."
  • The ship's cargo hold has references to various MineZ locations, with signs that read, "Eillom Ale," "Manzana Cider," "Zerbia Rum," and "Aged Concord Wine."
