Desert Castles

The Desert Castles are a pair of medium-sized ruined castles located in the central-south desert split between the east and west. These structures are composed of a larger central room with multiple connecting towers. The loot here can be helpful to any newly spawned player in order to start their journey.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

• These locations are a great stop for newly spawned players as they're easy to get to and offers a decent amount of basic supplies.
  • Stronger military supplies can be found in the nearby Yawpton to the north.
• The front gate of Scalden Battlements is closed, however, numerous holes in the walls can be climbed through to get inside.

Trivia

• A Waygate can be found beneath Torrid Keep, accessible from outside the northeast side.
• The two Desert Castles were rebuilt by wmn as part of The Adventurer's Update.
• The southern-most chest on the roof of Torrid Keep was once always trapped.
