Sercaul

Sercaul is a medium sized town located in the jungle south of Meteor Crater, and consists of seven huts above the water. Added in the May 2020 Origins update, this town sits at the entrance of the jungle biome. This town has almost every resource a player would need before venturing into the jungle. Sercaul is composed of mostly civilian chests, a few tool and food chests, with even a few potion chests. Players can parkour around the wooden platforms to traverse the town. There are only two entrances onto the platforms, at the northwest and east ladders.

Sercaul is debatably superior to the nearby Kauri for players heading to Agni Ignis. It has a higher number of food chests, as well as some potion chests that should provide enough potions. Sercaul is one of the main places players use to get to the jungle however, with the walkway in the mountain to the northwest. This means players can be found commonly here, including seasoned bandits with projectile protection armor obtained from Agni Ignis. Always keep an eye out. Jumping into the water and swimming away is a viable strategy, as players here rarely have depth striders or frost walker boots.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

• The crafting table can be located at the light blue flag hut, or the hut that is the furthest southeast.
• This town is a good stopping point to restock any food supplies you might be missing before heading further north.
• Bandits hop this town regularly. They might be heavily geared, so don't stay for too long here.
• There's a pathway north of here that leads up into the jungle.
  • Alternatively, players can go up via Trammelpoint Ridge or by swimming up the waterfall.
