MineZ Locations Format 2020
This is where you write a brief description of The Location you are writing about. You should also mention locations close-by such as Consilio University for example.
General Information | |
---|---|
Coordinates: | (0, 0) |
Location Message: | There are 3 tags typically given to the area typeː The first tag describes the biome the location resides in (i.e. Underground). The second tag describes the location itself (i.e. Town). The final tag is optional and can be added anywhere to add extra depth to the location explanation (i.e. Icy). Putting all of these together, Aurora would be an Icy Underground Town. A full list of tags will be at the bottom of this page. |
Number of Buildings: | Buildings typically mean anything from houses to watchtowers to even tents. |
Zombie Threat: | Use the range from Very Low to Unbelievably High. Try to base this around the number of zombies that spawn within the town on average. Areas that have Spawners, Giants or Zombie Pigmen will automatically have a higher Zombie Threat than normal. If the location does have Spawners or Giants, list them here. |
Number of Chests: | Chests that do not actually function like other chests, such as the trapped chests in Paluster Shrine, do not count towards the total. |
Lootable Graves: | Any soul sand and mossy cobblestone grave that can be dug up using a Shovel qualifies. |
Risk of Bandits: | Use the range from Very Low to Unbelievably High. Try to base this comparatively to other locations, or estimate what percentage of the time you find a hostile player located in the town you're writing for. If the town is south of 200z, write "None (Below PvE Line)". |

Contents
Loot Chests
- Name the building or room in which you find the chest(s).
- List the types of chests and their numbers.
Travel Advisory/Warnings
- If there is a crafting bench, mention it first. Describe the house it's located in and its coordinates. EXAMPLEː The crafting bench is located in the stable at (5, 0, 530)
- Do the same thing as crafting benches in this orderː Crafting Bench -> Brewing Stand -> Water Refill -> Farms -> Graves.
- Give general advice for the rest of the bullet points such as bandits, zombie threat, grappling, button usage, location/loot cycles, etc.
Trivia
- If there are references to other games, secrets, past rebuilds or other fun facts to discuss about the location, post them in the Trivia section.
- Do not post tips and advise in this section. Instead, post them in the Travel Advisory/Warnings sections.
Lore
Lore Block
- Mention the location of the lore block in the same way you would mention a crafting bench in the Travel Advisory/Warnings section. EXAMPLEː The lore block is located in the center of the colosseum at (3500, 0, -3420)
In this section you want to write the lore you find in-game. Remember to space out the lines with a break for each separate line the lore block reads out. |
Lore Book
- Mention the location of the lore block in the same way you would mention a crafting bench in the Travel Advisory/Warnings section. EXAMPLEː The lore block is located in the center of the colosseum at (3500, 0, -3420)
Author of the Lore Book
Day 1ː You want to add breaks whenever there is a new paragraph on one of the pages. |
External Lore
Source of the Lore
In this section you will be quoting lore from external sources not found in-game, for example MineZː Our Story. Use breaks as you see fit for this section. |
Gallery
(At the bottom of the page, add the Categories. This has not been done here, since the page continues, but at this point you would want to add it here.)
Helpful Information
This section would not be in any Wiki pages. This exists for the sake of demonstrating some of the things you need to know if you're going to edit location pages.
- The number of asterisks you use determines the priority of a bullet point. A single asterisk gives the highest bullet point priority.
- If you want to add an addendum to one of your bullet points, you will want to lower the priority of the bullet point that follows.
