''"Rising from the molded, fresh earth, humanity was created to rule over all other earthly creations. And there on that new earth, far beyond the great lakes lied a grand city unparalleled in beauty and construction, the legendary city of Axis Mundi. Fashioned by the gods themselves, and imbued with Hestril's majesty, it was a city built to last until the end of all things. Here existed a tether between Hestril's domain and our own."''
