Strip Mine is an underground area in the forest near Romero. It is hard to spot because it is a 1x1 hole in the ground. There's a cobweb that'll break your fall at the end of the deep hole; you won't take any fall damage. There are many strip mining tunnels, but at the end of the one in the southwest there is a staircase to the surface. Near the top there is a wooden button that you can press and it will let you out of the mine. There's a water cauldron here and it's full after a server reboot, but it's likely other players have already emptied it.
