Regular Potions

Regular Potions are consumable items within MineZ that inflict various status effects upon the consumer. They can be found in numerous environments and are generally regarded as relatively valuable. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, drinking a potion will not yield in an empty bottle and instead will be entirely consumed.

Can also be bought from the XP shop with 200,000 Shotbow XP. Can be brewed into splash potions using gunpowder, however will disappear upon logging out as a mechanism to prevent its overuse.

Eillom Ale File:harm_potion.png Inflicts 3 hearts (File:full_heart.pngFile:full_heart.pngFile:full_heart.png) of damage, but gives Jump Boost II and Nausea III for 10 seconds. Can only be found in two special chests at Eillom inside the Eillom Brewery. Its description reads: "The Eillom brewery is famous for its ale. Rumor is it makes you light on your feet."

Splash Potions & Lingering Potions

Splash Potions are not consumable, and are instead thrown or shot as a projectile, creating an area of effect in which anyone caught will receive the correspondent infliction. Some are obtainable, such as Splash Potions of Healing in all Potion chests or Splash Potions of Slowness in Spire chests, while others are shot out of dispensers for use of traps or makeshift turrets. Splash Potions may also be obtained by brewing their consumable counterpart with a gunpowder.
Lingering potions are variants of splash potions that can be thrown to leave clouds with status effects which linger on the ground. They last for around 5 seconds and only two potions of these kind can be found in-game.
