Portsmouth is a fishing town located on the Southern ocean. It is on the south coast and is often heavily populated with freshly spawned players. The town consists of many small buildings along with a church, stables, a large manor, graveyard, and a crypt. The church contains four pots_common chests which spawn health potions. The town itself contains many food items including wheat and cocoa beans which can be crafted into cookies or bread on the crafting table in the barn. The graveyard crypt of the town also contains six chests which can be looted for low level military gear. Portsmouth offers little protection from the many zombies that are commonly found roaming the town besides the ladder in the manor that leads to the top of the roof.

Travel Advisory/Warnings
- It is recommended to come here when you spawn in. However, be wary of zombies and bandits around the outskirts of town. You should come here for health potions and food before going to the Consilio University, or Evergreen Manor if you have a button.
- Many newly spawned players get carried away (even after the friendly sign) so watch you and your friends' backs for an attack from leather players with swords.
- Health potions can be found in the church. This is one of the best towns for potions due to their easy accessibility and large amounts.
- Diving in the water and fighting zombies from below their reach can save you if a horde is after you. Watch your air level though.
- Looting the crypt 1-2 times can yield you with full leather armor.
- Having the ocean nearby can provide you with easy access to water, use it to your advantage.
- Be ready for a quick getaway at all times, Portsmouth is a large target for bandits for its civilian chests and easy health pots. If some do come, it is recommended to log out or leave immediately if you do not wish to be killed.
- Some bandits that come here have mid-class loot such as chain armor and stone swords; be on your guard!
- Since there are several civilian chests, this is an ideal place to find healing supplies. It is not uncommon for other players to team up here to heal each other while fighting off zombies together.
- You can access the manor tower with ladders and stairs, which has a mil_uncommon chest on top.
- The barn contains a crafting table as well as 3 food_common chests, being an ideal place to craft cookies.
Trivia
- Portsmouth received a re-skin for Halloween 2017, and had a mini-quest at the graveyard. It was added back for Halloween 2018.
- The blacksmith shop has the Southernmost source of lava, although unobtainable.
Lore
- This location contains some of the Lore of MineZ. It refers to Overgrown Tomb, where some Lore there will lead you to Thannus.
Diary - Harvey
Hmmm, nothing interesting to do with what I'm looking for here... Perhaps I'll grab a friend and venture up to the Overgrown Tomb. There's bound to be something interesting on one of those skeletons... People don't just disappear without a trace, where are they vanishing to? |
