Revision as of 14:20, 23 May 2020

Replace "eclipsed headquarters.png" with the name of the image you want to input, then change this text to describe the image.

This is where you write a brief description of The Dungeon you are writing about. You should also mention the entrance point if it is located in/near a town such as Knoxmoor for example.

Dungeon Information
Coordinates: (0, 0)
Difficulty: The difficulty rating of a Dungeon from 1 to 10/10. For these ratings we will outsource to active dungeon groups for help.
Number of Chests: Chests that do not actually function like other chests, such as the trapped chests in Paluster Shrine, do not count towards the total.
Dungeon Type: The Dungeon Tier goes here. If you don't know the Tier, ask a member of the Wiki Council to fill this in for you.
Zombie Content: Use the range from Very Low to Unbelievably High. Try to base this around the number of zombies that spawn within the dungeon on average. Dungeons that have Wave Rooms, Spawners, Giants or Zombie Pigmen will automatically have a higher Zombie Threat than normal. If the location does have Spawners or Giants, list them here.
Parkour Content: Use the range from Very Low to Unbelievably High. Try to base this around not just how frequent the parkour is but how difficult it is.
Puzzle/Trap Content: Use the range from Very Low to Unbelievably High. Try to base this around how difficult the puzzles are. Puzzles in which failure results in potential death will naturally increase the rating.
Minimum Players: The minimum number of players required. Keep this number at the intended playercount, not factoring in items such as Legendaries. If you can reduce the number of required players using certain items, describe the process in the Travel Advisory and Text Walkthrough sections.
Other Requirements: List off other requirements here, such as Junk Items, Bow and Arrows, Buttons, etc.

  • Write what you need to do in this section.
  • You can add some hints/tricks which will aid in dungeon clearing efficiency.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

  • If there is a crafting bench, mention it first. Describe the house it's located in and its coordinates. EXAMPLEː The crafting bench is located in the stable at (5, 0, 530)
    • Do the same thing as crafting benches in this orderː Crafting Bench -> Brewing Stand -> Water Refill -> Farms -> Graves.
  • Give general advice for the rest of the bullet points such as bandits, zombie threat, grappling, button usage, location/loot cycles, etc.

Trivia

Lore

Lore Block

In this section you want to write the lore you find in-game.

Remember to space out the lines with a break for each separate line the lore block reads out.

Lore Book

  • Mention the location of the lore block in the same way you would mention a crafting bench in the Travel Advisory/Warnings section. EXAMPLEː The lore block is located in the center of the colosseum at (3500, 0, -3420)

Author of the Lore Book

Day 1ː

You want to add breaks whenever there is a new paragraph on one of the pages.

Day 2ː
Add two breaks instead of one when there is a new page.

External Lore

Source of the Lore

In this section you will be quoting lore from external sources not found in-game, for example MineZː Our Story.

Use breaks as you see fit for this section.

Helpful Information

This section would not be in any Wiki pages. This exists for the sake of demonstrating some of the things you need to know if you're going to edit location pages.

  • The number of asterisks you use determines the priority of a bullet point. A single asterisk gives the highest bullet point priority.
    • If you want to add an addendum to one of your bullet points, you will want to lower the priority of the bullet point that follows.
= What you would use for Water Refills, Crafting Benches, etc.
= If the location is missing something listed in the loot/resources section.
  • Limited = What you would use if there was a limited number of Water Refills available in the location.
  • Nearby = What you would use if there was a water source on the outskirts of the location.
  • The following are what you would use for the Contentː
    • Very Low
    • Low
    • Medium
    • High
    • Very High
    • Unbelievably High
