Gun attachments can be bought and found in public chests. They can be added to weapons through anvils, in order to increase their capabilities. For convenience, attachments are able to be added to weapons in stacks so you don't have to apply them individually. They are "Bound" items so they are destroyed upon death.

The damage value differences between melee weapons, if there are any, are so negligible that the random damage variables and criticals make a greater difference. There are multiple types of weapons at your disposal in MTA. Acquiring them and choosing them for different circumstances is vital to surviving.

Note: Weapon damage was tested by shooting a car to give the raw value of damage the gun gives. There is no difference with headshot damage unless the gun used is a sniper.

Burn Damage:

  • Slight Touch: -1 HP
  • Full Burn : -6 HP
  • Standing in a fire: -8 HP

Pending update on which guns can be wielded in a player's second hand, weapon handling, and reload times.

Guns

Guns are the primary weapons in MTA! Below you will find a table with more information about each gun. The damage displayed is the maximum damage done when you are not wearing any armor. Depending on your combat level, sometimes your bullets will have critical hits which will add an additional 5% to the damage of that bullet. If you are not a high enough level to use a gun, it will have a higher chance to jam and force you to reload. A jammed gun requires that you rapidly click to unjam it followed by having to reload regardless of how much ammo you had left.

Gun Attachements

Gun attachments can be bought at gun stores or found in chests. They’re used to buff certain parts of the gun, while debuffing others. It’s optimal to find the right combination of attachments for different guns that suits your play style. Attachments bought from stores are bound and will break when dropped or when you die, however attachments found in chests aren’t bound and can be traded to other players.

Fire Rate Increase -0.1x to weapon firing interval, -4% damage 5 $1.5K Level 45

Ammunition

The last thing you want to hear when shooting an opponent is the click of an empty chamber. Keep yourself stocked with ammo and you'll be able to do more than just whack someone with an empty gun.

Damage values are unarmored and right at the point of the explosion. Explosion radius values are the maximum range to be effected by the explosion at all. Diminishing damage from being further from the explosion isn't factored.
