Lore

Lore Book

Spores of Knowledge I - Porcimorel Ostreatus

  • The lore block is located in the first room at (11, 46, 17).
I can't believe it!

My hypothesis was correct!

There's something special about the toadstools beneath Exolesco...

This discovery changes everything!

Their incredible properties present endless opportunities.

All I need is to grow a few small clusters

Spores of Knowledge II - Porcimorel Ostreatus

  • The lore block is located in the mushroom growing room at (55, 38, -12).
We were so close, yet so far.

This fungi has shown its true form; a toxic toadstool rearing its ugly head.

My assistant has fallen deathly ill, spores growing about him, with no end in sight.

Will I meet the same fate?

Fungal Finality - Porcimorel Ostreatus

  • The lore block is located in the boss room at (51, 46, 2).
All my research, my travels and discoveries, means nothing now.

This accursed fungus has enchanted me with potential, only to ensnare me in its mycelium.

My only hope is to die with dignity and to know that those who find my sporous remains understand I died a pioneer of mycology.

I pray that anyone who finds my work may heed my warning, those caverns below Exolesco are not as they seem.

Trivia

  • The lore books here heavily imply that the zombie in the boss room is the professor Porcimorel Ostreatus, with his assistant being the dead body holding the Smoldering Torch.
  • The caverns below Exolesco may refer to the Exolesco Tunnels, a removed dungeon in MineZ.
