Text Walkthrough
Entrance and First Room(1/10)
- Walk down the tunnel and stand on the mushroom to the left in order to become small.
- You can then pass through the vines opposite.
- Step on the next mushroom to become big again and traverse to the next room
- Alternatively, you can jump off the vine to the left in order to skip the mushroom and stay small.
Mushroom Growing Room(3/10)
- Stand on the mushroom to the left to become small and pass through the vines opposite.
- Go to the small cave on the right and take the Smoldering Torch from the dead body.
- Use this to burn away the vines and stand on the mushroom again to become big.
- You can now push the block (next to the small cave) under the dripping water.
- Mushrooms will grow from it, which you can jump from to reach the exit of this room.
Boss Room(4/10)
- Travel through the tunnel and into the final room.
- There will be a zombie with mushrooms growing out of its head.
- It will periodically use an attack which gives poison for a short amount of time to anyone close.
- Once defeated, it will drop a Fungus Covered Key which can be used to open the door to the loot room.
Loot Room (0/10)
- Congratulations! Collect all the dungeon loot and then leave though the stairway out.
Lore
Lore Book
Spores of Knowledge I - Porcimorel Ostreatus
- The lore block is located in the first room at (11, 46, 17).
I can't believe it!
My hypothesis was correct! There's something special about the toadstools beneath Exolesco... This discovery changes everything! Their incredible properties present endless opportunities. All I need is to grow a few small clusters |
Spores of Knowledge II - Porcimorel Ostreatus
- The lore block is located in the mushroom growing room at (55, 38, -12).
We were so close, yet so far.
This fungi has shown its true form; a toxic toadstool rearing its ugly head. My assistant has fallen deathly ill, spores growing about him, with no end in sight. Will I meet the same fate? |
Fungal Finality - Porcimorel Ostreatus
- The lore block is located in the boss room at (51, 46, 2).
All my research, my travels and discoveries, means nothing now.
This accursed fungus has enchanted me with potential, only to ensnare me in its mycelium. My only hope is to die with dignity and to know that those who find my sporous remains understand I died a pioneer of mycology. I pray that anyone who finds my work may heed my warning, those caverns below Exolesco are not as they seem. |
Trivia
- The lore books here heavily imply that the zombie in the boss room is the professor Porcimorel Ostreatus, with his assistant being the dead body holding the Smoldering Torch.
- The caverns below Exolesco may refer to the Exolesco Tunnels, a removed dungeon in MineZ.
