Overview of the ship

The Ghost Ship is the ship that disappeared from Carmi's harbor and now roams the seas protected by multiple mob spawners, including the Cursed Crew mob. It has 4 unique chests that can give you fire grenades, cooked fish, and other high-tier loot. There is also a mil_mythic chest here, containing high-quality military loot. The location is moved on a regular basis, making it one of the more cryptic spots in the MineZ world.

  • Editors: As per admin request, do not add coordinates to the ship on this wiki.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

  • This location is only accessible at night. Barriers prevent you from looting here during the day.
  • You are unable to use a grapple to get onto the ship. You must enter from a hole in the bottom of the ship.
  • This is one of few locations to contain the Cursed Crew mob. The mob can also be found in the Zerbia Depths.
  • The Cursed Crew Mobs can easily knock you off some of the higher areas of the ship. Be careful, as this can be deadly.
  • This is not an effective farming location, due to high mob spawns and widespread loot chests.
  • Jumping into the water to kill zombies and zombie pigmen more easily is a good strategy.
  • The Ghost Ship is a location that is constantly moved around the map. That being said, it is typically in an area that is out of the way.
  • The crafting tables in this location can be found in the cargo hold and on the main deck, just as you enter the ship. Crafting here is not advised, as there are several spawners nearby.
  • The brewing stands here can also be found in the cargo hold. Again, brewing potions here is not a good idea.

Trivia

  • The Ghost Ship was placed back into the MineZ world on August 9th 2020 as a part of the Adventurer's Update. In the update, the ship was rebuilt, marking a new era for the location. Past iterations of the ship are now colloquially referred to as "Old Ghost Ship."
  • The Ghost Ship is known as "Inferno."
  • The Ghost Ship bears a striking resemblance to a pirate ship that is seen in "The Goonies," a popular 1980's adventure movie. The ship in the movie is also called "Inferno."
  • The ship's cargo hold has references to various MineZ locations, with signs that read, "Eillom Ale," "Manzana Cider," "Zerbia Rum," and "Aged Concord Wine."
