The top of Eillom

Eillom is a town that hangs from a land plateau which is held up by natural pillars. The buildings of the town are connected by partially broken wooden walkways and are reached by a makeshift stairway on the northeastern pillar.

There are also multiple vines that the player can use to enter and exit the town from below. It lies only a few hundred blocks east of Camp Azara. Although the loot here isn't necessarily the best, it is one of the most frequented locations due to the presence of health potions food, water, and other supplies.

After a long absence of players, the Re-Code update made this location far more popular as an alternative to Al Hasa. The zombies, players, and multiple holes in the structure make this location one of the most dangerous on the map. The famous Eillom Ale can be found here.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

  • There are several brewing stands located in the brewery at (1686, 44, -2204), and a single brewing stand is located in Thomas_Dorland's Euugh Food Inventories at (1658, 44, -2176).
  • There's no crafting table here but Camp Azara has one, which is some hundred blocks away to the west.
  • Due to the largely broken walkways in between the houses, a visitor is exposed to the constant danger of falling down or being pushed by a zombie/player.
  • Dropping into the pond below the town is a quick way to leave but try not to land on the lily pads as this could be fatal.
  • The haybale patch located to the west of the town, below the storage area, has slime blocks under some of the yellow carpet there. Use it to either escape or as another quick exit out of the town. Be careful, as not all the yellow carpet contains slime blocks underneath.
  • There are mushrooms of both types inside the graveyard.
  • High PvP area due to the health potions, food, and other useful items. Bandits commonly server hop here.
  • It is possible to survive a fall from the walkways with Feather Falling IV boots on, although this will take a huge chunk of health off the player.
  • Most players come from south or west of the town, so keep an eye on the grounds there.
  • Eillom is famous for spawning the Eillom Ale, which gives players 3 hearts of instant damage and Nausea III in return for Jump Boost II.
  • The most direct and common point of entry is up the vines on the center pillar. If another player makes an appearance, this will be their likely spot to gain entry. Luckily, it is easily defended as players can be knocked off.
  • There is a secret cave with a mil_epic chest that can be accessed by climbing on vines outside of the East window of Thomas_Dorland's Euugh Food Inventories restaurant.
  • Spending a good amount of time here can get the player full pristine chain armor.

Trivia

  • The giant stone head located at the top of the area is a reference to Ricardo Fort, a dead Argentine celebrity.
  • Eillom was changed for Halloween 2017. The graveyard had a button that, when clicked, would play the Spooky Scary Skeletons Theme followed by the message "Happy Halloween!". One of the recipes for Spooky Geuten was found here.
    • This location was readded for Halloween 2018. It, however, had no recipe this time.
  • The eastern cave with the mil_epic chest used to have a sign reading: "Pssh... Leave me alone in here....."
  • The build submission of this location originally had trees on it. It was a submission by IamMclovin. The submission can be seen here.
  • The owners of Axle's Abode and the Home of LACHEY may be related to each other, as on the player sign of Axle's Abode "SOLICITING WELCOME" is written, while the opposite, "NO SOLICITING", is written on the player sign of the Home of LACHEY.
