Crowmure as seen from the south

Crowmure is a northern town containing decent gear and supplies for its location, mainly comprised of pristine chain and iron, along with a few civilian and food chests. Zombie spawns are relatively high, but considering the loot to be had here, plauyers may want to gear up in Crowmure before taking on Byesford Castle or Hell Tree. Be warned however, this is a very high bandit location and is considered the Al Hasa of the West. Many groups hop this town frequently, making it a death trap for new players.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

  • The brewing stands are located in BasicAly's Estate, on the first floor of the northwestern house.
  • There's a small road located west from here that leads to Crowmure Farm.
  • Bandit teams commonly gather near the well.
  • The town is popular due to its decent military gear. Bandits hop this location frequently.
  • No health potions spawn here. Players can loot some at Lazerville or Sanctuary of Peace. As there are four civ chests (one is unlootable), it might be a good strategy to try to get a button to loot Sanctuary's crypt.
  • It is not recommended to come alone as bandits come in groups here.
  • Crowmure can be a very good place to get medium to high tier weapons and armor.
  • It is highly not recommended to logout inside the town, due to its high bandit population.
  • Zombie Pigmen can spawn on top and inside of structures, beware of them jumping onto you from above.
  • Due to the large, spread-out layout of the town, it can attract groups looking for gear.
  • High level villagers zombies spawn here, which can drop top tier loot such as gunpowder and iron armor. Be careful of those which hold swords however, they do high damage.
  • The tower in the center of town has torches on the first floor you can use to cook food.

Trivia

  • This location was a build submission by C0N0R_B.
    • Crowmure Farm was not built by the same person but the buildings share a similar design.
  • This location received some aesthetic updates during 2018 and again in May of 2020, with the release of the Origins update.
  • This location has the message "Mutant's Landing" upon entering it, referring to the lore that this is where zombie pigmen from Castle Byesford first arrived.
  • There is a civ_uncommon in the barn, but it is unlootable because it is covered by a hay bale.
  • This town is commonly referred to as "Crow" by veteran players.
  • For April Fools 2021, Al Hasa and Crowmure swapped places and had each other's loot chests.

Sarah's Diary - Sarah

We've just gotten word that south of here there are strange reports of people dying and then coming back to life... what a silly thing to say!
