Byesford Castle, with Water Spire in the background

Byesford Castle is one of the most dangerous places on the MineZ map. It is situated on an island with stone walls, the only two access points are through the dock on the Eastern side or through a hole on the Northeast. The castle is protected by many zombie spawners hidden in the walls and has one of the highest zombie populations in the game. It is recommended to have iron armor and plenty of health potions to get in the labs where the good loot spawns and zombie spawn rates are much lower. The dungeon Byesford Labs is located here.

It wasn’t until the gods delivered unto mortals the curse of the undead, mankind’s final penance and rulers, that this castle became a bastion for humanity.

Here scientists in Byesford’s highly advanced laboratories worked tirelessly to attempt to cure this infection; to stave off this curse.
But it was an act of sheer folly, and the dangerous experiments that were kept so carefully beneath the castle were let loose...
