Septus

Septus is a Cave System town split in half by a ravine. To cross, a few jumps of parkour must be made. Most of the loot is on the side of the ravine opposite from the entrance. This is a recommended town area to visit for quick health potions and iron/chain armor.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

• There is water in the caves 200 blocks to the north, and there is water to the south at Medusa Lake.
• The parkour across the ravine into Septus consists of a few downhill 2-3 block jumps.
• Failing this parkour is fatal, but only barely. Bringing feather fallings or even eating a golden apple can help avoid death.
• Septus is a good place to get high-tier military gear.
  • Medusa Lake is another good option to gear up on military equipment.
• Thanks to the ravine, fights in Septus often revolve around combat with bows. Be sure to carry enough arrows to dissuade potential intruders.

Trivia

• The word Septus derives from the word Septum, which usually refers to a partition that separates two cavities or things from eachother. In the case of this town, the ravine in the middle separates the entrance from the rest of the town.
• This location was a build submitted by Miner_roy, the same person behind Fort Saward and its dungeon, Saward Crypt.
• There are 2 new cave-ins in the town: One inside the ravine and one between the dormitory and blacksmith. The first one has a sign that reads, "I managed to grab the cat before the escape..." And the second one, "The wall didn't hold... Should've been ten feet higher..." Both of them are references to phrases attributed to Trump: "Grab them by the p*ssy" and "The wall just got ten feet higher" respectively.
  • These signs point to the fact of this location being nerfed several times, such as the removal of water sources, the crafting table, and overall good loot; and players have been asking for Septus to be great again.
• Septus received a redecoration for MineZ Wonderland 2020; Even then, the town was not great relative to other christmas towns.
