Overview of Camp Kharj

Camp Kharj is one of the most secluded locations on the map. It is a military encampment that contains a forge, a sawmill, and several houses. Positioned in the center of a vast gravel plateau, and lacking a water refill, with the nearest one being several hundred blocks away, players do not visit here very often. However, decent military gear can be found here, with relative safety, barring the moderate spawn rate of zombies and zombie pigmen.

Travel Advisory/Warnings

• Two crafting tables can be found here: one is in the southeastern house at (1006, 81, -2554), and another is located in the southwestern house at (988, 81, -2552).
• A furnace is present near the forge at (1019, 81, -2556).
• There is no water source found, so be sure to bring enough water bottles. The nearest water source is Knoxmoor or the ice river to the southeast.
• This is a decent spot to gear up. While it is close to Al Hasa, few experienced bandits come here.
• Many zombies here will spawn on the outside of the camp. Be mindful of this when leaving.
• Players are not often found here, but with a prolonged stay, there might be some players arriving here.

Trivia

• Camp Kharj was rebuilt in the Origins Update.
• The rebuild was created by suitaso. Their player head can be found behind the chest in the northwestern corner.
