Aurora
Aurora is an underground mining town in the Cave System. The town is set in the ice and is built around a central tree. It is one of the deepest towns in the Cave System, so get plenty of food before attempting to get here. Food and military gear can be found here, as well as potions. On May 9, 2020, Aurora received a rebuild as part of the Origins update.

Travel Advisory/Warnings
- While the loot here is well rounded, players do not frequent this place because of its distance from major objectives such as elite dungeons and the PvP area that is the gravel canyons.
- There is a crafting table at the entrance to the mine.
- There are brewing stands in the stone temple.
- Be wary of lava holes in the temple.
- There is one entrance to Aurora and two exits.
- You can enter Aurora through the cave system or Clarce Mines if you have a Grapple.
- You can exit Aurora into the cave system or Clarce Mines.
- Heading straight west from Riftus will lead here easily.
- Wolves spawn here frequently. Watch out for them.
- More reasonably, Shivers do spawn frequently here but can be avoided by swimming up the waterfall to the house in the east and disposed off from there.
- To get to the 2 pot_rare and 2 room_high chests inside the Shrine a button is required. Place the button on the chisled stone bricks located above the doorway to the shrine. Go in quickly. The doorway will remain open automatically so long as somebody is inside.
- A good place to stock up on chain armor, potions, water bottles, and basic supplies before attempting Krubera Vault.
- No other cave town has more potion chests than Aurora. This may compel bandits to visit this location.
Trivia
- On March 11, 2018, the ice inside Aurora's cave melted to the point the entire location became completely flooded, quickly getting the nickname of Flooded Aurora or even blaming it on Global Warming for the disaster as a joke. Some of the parkour-only areas were reachable along with some unreachable ones, it was incredibly difficult to traverse and the only places that weren't submerged in water were the church and the temple. It was quickly fixed a few hours after the incident was reported. A video in the completely trashed location can be found here.
- This town was originally built by Wholemilk, BOTB_Justalittle, Coltsnid, Nickskibike, Bionic_Prodigy and a few other friends of theirs. There are even graves with Wholemilk's, Coltsnid's, Nickisbike's and Bionic's names on them.
- In the house on the Eastern Waterfall Ledge, there is a player head hidden in the ice. Next to the head is a sign that reads, "Cold Spaghetti."
Lore
- There's a Lore Book here, at the mine's entrance. Most of the terminologies and events mentioned in the Lore Book reference the playstyle, common occurences and game mechanics of the MineZ world from a player's perspective.

| Day 1: This is the day that I have always planned for! I knew that one day the fools above would end up messing something up. It's a good thing that I have always worked to horde all of the materials I need down here. Now I just have to wait.
