Abandoned Farm

The farm from the south-east.

Abandoned Farm is a small farm located in the canyons around 600 blocks west of Al Hasa. This location is commonly visited by those roaming the gravel wastelands due to the water sources and high amount of Food loot chests that spawn here. It is advised to watch out for bandits; many players frequent this location before and after fights as it is the only major source of food found in the gravel wastelands and canyon area

Travel Advisory / Warnings

• A large number of bandits are frequently present here. Do not visit the farm unless you are prepared to fight or run away from another player
• The water refills and crops are located in the farmyard at (1030, -2945)
• Though the Food loot chests spawn a large number of food crafting materials, there is no crafting table here. The nearest crafting table is located at Fort Kharj
• The minor location Spined Slope can be found to the east, acting as a way to enter and exit the canyons from the gravel wastelands

Trivia

• Right clicking the pumpkin head of the scarecrow used to display a message talking about a man with glowing eyes being seen nearby. This was a reference to Herobrine, whose head could be seen on top of the windmill
• The location was rebuilt during 2018, however there were very few changes to it
• A firework cart could be found here during the Dawn of the Second Sun 2020 event
• This location received a winter-themed rebuild for the Wonderland 2020 event
